Playing on the University of Washington campus. It's hard to believe that I actually did that. My goal every time was to disappear and let the event happen. And I pulled it off often enough to keep coming back. I did it for 6 years, 1971 to 1977.

With my good friend from the old California days, Chris Ramey. The guitar I'm playing is a 1965 Epiphone Texan that Ramey gave me. He had gotten into buying and selling guitars, he had 75 of them, and since we all played Epiphones back in the day and I didn't have one, he gave it to me. I tried to pay for it but he wouldn't take no for an answer. He died a couple of years later. Goodbye Chris.
